Lion Man sculpture

The Lion Man (Löwenmensch) is a prehistoric ivory figurine discovered in the Hohlenstein-Stadel cave in Germany and is now displayed in the Ulm Museum. It was carved from mammoth ivory around 35,000–40,000 years ago during the Upper Paleolithic period. The figure has a human body and a lion’s head, making it one of the oldest known representations of a mythical or hybrid creature.

The Lion Man is considered a key piece of evidence for early human symbolic thinking, art, and possibly religious or spiritual beliefs. Its detailed craftsmanship suggests advanced artistic skills and complex cultural practices among Ice Age humans.

After thoroughly understanding the client’s requirements, we sourced and evaluated multiple custom sculpture manufacturers in coastal China and selected a qualified resin sculpture factory to develop production samples. Based on the client’s technical drawings, we produced several pre-production samples in different color options for approval. Premium-quality resin was used to ensure high detail accuracy and realistic surface reproduction.

Once the samples were approved, we addressed packaging and transportation challenges by collaborating with a professional custom gift packaging manufacturer in Guangdong, China. The factory designed durable and visually appealing packaging solutions to ensure the sculptures were well-protected during international shipping. After the packaging boxes were completed, all products were delivered to the sculpture factory for final assembly and packing.

Following quality inspection, we arranged DDP shipping service to streamline the logistics process and reduce communication complexity for the client. Within less than two weeks, the goods were air-freighted directly to the client’s designated warehouse, ensuring fast and reliable delivery.
